Rising majestically to 1,343 meters (4,406 feet) above sea level, Kodachadri reigns supreme as the highest peak in the Shimoga district of Karnataka. Its name, derived from the Sanskrit word “Kutaja,” meaning “Jasmine of the Hills,” hints at the fragrant beauty that awaits.
